Departure from the hotel with a fully equipped car. This tour will make you travel back in time, bringing you back to 2000 years ago. The eruption of the Vesuvio in 79 AD has destroyed the life of this city, burying the whole place with lava and ashes, still preserving that very last moment of life. At the end of the visit of the excavations we shall go to Hercolaneum site or to the Mt Vesuvio. The walk to the crater will last about 40 minutes and the ticket includes a tour guide who will tell you the story of the “sleeping” volcano.
